CIAO PRODUCT SEARCH

Ciao's product search is up the shoot today. The message I get when I try to find something is :

Sorry, we were unable to fulfill your search request. Please try again later.

Great.

This happens alot

Never had it happen before. Perhaps I was looking for stuff that the database found easily.

It does happen from time to time, and I got the same message trying to apply a body gel one day.

I wrote to Ciao about it and they responded saying that the title appears from time to time when:

1) A large amount of member's products are being added to the database and this is Ciao's way of applying "Down time," and:

2) A large amount of members are trying to suggest products all at the same time!

I think its just an excuse frankly as you'd think Ciao UK would be able to cope against all their other European branches!

I find it best to add a message to yourself in your private guestbook then when it comes to putting in the product you want, copy and paste!
