I ignore messages asking for reads as well. I'm not too bothered about members asking for re-reads - although I don't like to see the term re-rate - but sometimes I just can't see where there have been changes. Or changes have been made, but not in accordance with the comments I make. I loathe to see members request their latest be read through their 'About Me', but it happens.

Isn't that against the rules? Touting for reads is essentially advertising in your 'About Me' and according to the anonymous member(s) that decreed that this this was against Ciao's T&Cs, should be reported forthwith!

Against the rules? Yes, I think so. But have you ever seen anything done about it?

Only when I've "advertised" Optors in my "About me"... then I get informed in my PGB that "it's against the rules" by a member and Ciao Abuse come knocking at my door a day later.

Oh, and Ciao did remove the Adoption Scheme partly because members were 'advertising' each other and partly over concerns about the rating habits of adoptors/adoptees.
