Is it worth re-submitting any reviews?

Personally, I would wait until the technical glitches are sorted out.

It would be quite funny to publish a load of blank reviews, take the money and run.

I'm not rating any reviews til everything is sorted out. I get my notification to tell me someone rated or commented 1 of mine but when I go look there are no new rates & no comments so I presume the same thing happens if I rate... So, I'll just sit tight for a while...

Yeah...definitely give us some time to sort this out before posting your opinions. There's still a bit of doom going on.

Since you guys joked about it, I figured it'd be funny to point out that a couple of people who decided to act on the "hey, I'll just post a bunch of blank opinions, read them with my other accounts, and then cash out" scheme have already had their accounts removed. Thanks to our new security tools we were able to find out what their normal account was as well (and lock it). So please, please, PLEASE don't do it. Just because our servers have the flu doesn't mean our abuse sweeps aren't still running.
But I digress...

I'll give you more info as soon as I can. Dealing with the whole "blank review randomness" issue is at least getting more well defined....I know it's not comforting but now it's only affect dooyoo.co.uk instead of all the dooyoo sites. So while it seems we won the unlucky lottery, we're doing our best to fix it. Really.

Another cunning plan foiled however as a business studies teacher I do hav to admire the entreprenurial attitude of some members even if it is abuse it is still spotting an opportunity and looking to exploit it.

Pretty much think it is, the only thing I noticed yesterday was in what was supposed to be a travel review there was a review of some make up product which did not read like that writers normal style or topic so was not an accidental posting but reviews being moved somehow.

I posted a review the day before it all went stupid and it seemed to survive the week of madness and then today I found my nice little travel review was actually showing a review about mascara.

So safe to post? I'm not so sure that's the case yet.

Oh dear, I never was any good with all that makeup stuff - I certainly didn't read the review I didn't write so I just registered it was eye-gunk.

HEHE I had to go and look too, and I have read the original.

I am just curious - is it the makeup that is the best defence against war and destruction, or broadmindedness acquired through travel...it's a tight contest.....

I'm going to get in trouble with Thingy for 'plugging' my own review - but in this case my defence would be that it isn't my review at all.
Oh, and I think you and Pauline both read the original already so I won't have to declare the extra pennies and do my penance.

Heh heh....I'll second that!!

The whole "mascara" review drama is being looked at by our tech guys....who are going bald right now because they thought they'd fixed just about everything until I told them about it.

In unrelated but still server doom issues, the crowns were started today but most likely won't be finished until tomorrow....most of the crowns that I added last week came back to me when the server was reset. So if you got a crown and lost it, you'll have it again tomorrow morning. Sorry about that, but mondays are infamously crazy over here.

PS: From the looks of everything, it is safe to read and rate again. There are a few isolated opinions that seem to have fallen between the cracks, but (at this moment) I can still count these on my fingers (I have only ten, despite rumors otherwise).
