| "A splattering", that sounds so crude. [Will Wendy's rabbit ever realise that Easter's finished?] | |

Ok. That's STUPID weird. I did them all on monday but they're not showing up on the "latest rewarded reviews" page. Random. Thanks for posting or I wouldn't have noticed that. -jared "who even when he does crowns on time he can't win"

"who even when he does crowns on time he can't win" It looks like only two reviews have a crown against them for the week, looking at a couple of members who usually pick up crowns there are none on the reviews they wrote the previous work which would be a surprise given they usually get one for their respective film and book reviews.

| Are you guys kidding? Saturday and Sundar are hangover days. Monday is when the drinking begins once more.
By the by, I think we've found the solution. The bad news is that it might not be in place until next week. The good news linked to that is that I'll give out double the normal amount of crowns next week. The extra bad news is that the total will pretty much be the same amount if the system hadn't... You know what? I'm done giving news. I'll be fixed soon, I swear. -jared

| Hey what happened? According to the font of all knowledge (cerebus/devil in me/whatever) guides get all the crowns... I've got less since I started... I only did it so I could get more | |

| Perhaps the secret is to do the job for a couple of months and then resign.
The old system used to mean it was harder for guides to get crowns as they needed a mix of non guide and guide nominations to get a crown and it was a lot harder in your own category. Now that Jared is a lot more hands on then it should be a bit more balanced from the impression I got when I asked the question on the guide forum.

| I love the chicken and the egg argument about Guides getting more crowns. It's sometimes true. Here's why:
Point 1: To be considered for a guide position, you have to be a good writer who earns crowns with some regularity. As such: The current guides are made up entirely of users who earn crowns regulary. Guides don't get more crowns, they just keep getting them. They might even get more as a lot of guides spend more time on dooyoo as a guide and thereby write more. It's a weird little thing, that.
Point 2: There really isn't a point 2, but "Point 1" just sounded right somehow. -jared

| Chicken and egg is true and here is a point for you Point 1... ummm actually I haven't even got one point but like Jared said it did just seem right somehow | |
