| Goofy News:
I only got about 6 crown nominations (including 4 from guides) this week...or so it seemed. There's an issue with my Admin Tool compiler, so crowns are going to be a little scant at the moment with a delayed mass crowning to come up as soon as we get the problem fixed. Your nominations ARE being kept, we're just not able to see them without opening the opinion in our system. That'll be fixed soon. I swear. :knock on wood: -jared

| I think I just got a crown for something I wrote 6 months ago - now that really was a surprise and proof that you can get them at the most unexpected times. | |

| Just so you guys know, the problem's been fixed. Me and dooyoo Germany share an admin tool and apparently they approved a bunch of changes without realizing that we...share the admin tool. The crown side on my end has been revamped a bit, so expect to see some older stuff get crowned just a little more often. I'd go into detail, but it's really, really boring. -jared | |

Got it exactly right...there was a minor bit of fakery doom waiting for me when I came in Monday. That's mostly sorted now and crowns will be given out as soon as the coffee kicks in. -jared

| Speakers Corner wirters should be lucky they get anything for a plain review anyway. They may be good, and many of the topics are very interesting to read, but if it's not consumer you shouldn't be paid at all. | |

Although a review about the commercial uses of poo would be good, povided it was not poo. What is poo is the fact that my miles are falling this morning so someone is in the poo.

| One paragraph twaddle is not good for the site. Lets take away the threepence for NU and SUs! That money saved should be used for increased crowns. | |

| But you aren't paid for rates, you are paid every time someone reads your review, irrespective of the quality.
Doing what you suggest would require a complete overhaul in the rating system.

| No it wouldnt. Just dont give three pence to people that post crap up to get their voucher. I take eons over my reviews, as do many others. | |

| So a system where people get paid per read, not rate, wouldn't take a radical overhaul to implement a system where people are paid per U and VU rating? Chinny reckon.
Anyway, all content (that's not racist, sexist etc. etc.) is valubale to Dooyoo, not just the stuff you think is VU/U.
