Copiers are bad, but revenge raters are worse in my opinion.

I disagree with you. Copying is the worse thing that anyone can do on a review site or elsewhere. Taking someone elses work and passing it off as your own is far worse than a momentary click on a button, even if it is in a moment of pique. The other thing on dooyoo of course is that no matter what the rating, you still get paid.

I think that copying reviews and revenge rating often go hand in hand, the found out plagiarist gets the hump and seeks revenge on the person who outed him/her. They are also the ones who shout 'foul' loudest, often trying to convince others they are innocent.

The trouble is that on dooyoo revenge rating is so much easier as you're not forced to leave a comment and can click NU along another members list of reviews at alarming rate.

AND THEY GET 3P EACH TIME.

Yes you certainly do. They don't want the hassle that ciao have with all the abuse reports and I guess they find it econimical to have people waste their rate rather than keep replying to emails.

I used to be bothered by revenge raters but not now (havent had in a while and when i did they were SU's, the same as i'd given them). It's just a rate and i look at the majority of rates and crowns. Plagurism though is terrible since they make money with no effort.

I have just had one of my Ciao reviews copied on Dooyoo! I have e-mailed them and asked them to remove it. I was planning on cross-posting it anyway, but was hoping to have the earnings myself! The saying is imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I have also been revenge rated (unrelated) and I have only been on the site five minutes. That has been removed though.

Yeah but the great thing is on Dooyoo you sill get the 3p which I always point out to the numpty who revenge rates me with a polite thank you and an invite to please revenge rate all my reviews as ratings like that do not restrict your ability to get a crown.

That's very true! They obviously don't realise that instead of harming you, they're adding to your miles. Lisa x
