| I logged into my account before just to see how my miles were doing. I discovered that I have to redeem 2,910 in 30 days (although there is no date as to when this '30 days' commenced) I have a total of 52,350 miles which means I don't have enough to withdraw cash, which is what I want to do. I love books, but don't wish to use my dooyoo miles for books - I want cash!!! So, what do I do? So that I don't lose the 2,910 miles after 30 days, I'm going to have to use some of my other miles.... which means, I'm never going to get to the grand 55,000 mark in order to cash in without paying up £5. At least Ciao let you cash in any amount you like once you've hit the £50 mark. Do dooyoo think we write the reviews for the good of our health?!!! I know they pay more than Ciao, but quite honestly I think it's bad that they set a time limit on the miles. Hard up and disgusted of Scotland | |

| Yes this is a pain, having a time limit. However you could cash in say £5 worth of amazon vouchers and carry on writing hard for a while to earn back the extra.
The amount you have to cash in is equivalent to £2.91 so you should be able to get this back with 3 or 4 reviews if you read a lot.

| My miles expire this month and I'm frantically hurrying to get some reviews published to round up to the required number of miles for an Amazon voucher. It is the first time I have cashed any in. As for when the miles expire I think that it maybe exactly a year ago from the date you submitted your first review eg, if it was 24 May 2005 then they would expire 24 May 2006. I maybe be wrong though. | |

| I've got 19490 at the moment and 1380 expire in 30 days. So not many more needed to reach the 20k mark. | |

| Ooh! since I started this thread, I took Sirge's advice and posted up a couple more reviews and now I only have about 730 more points to go before I get the magic 55,000 points to withdraw cash! I checked the date I joined dooyoo and it was 18 December 2004 - yet this is the first time I've seen a 30-day expiry on some of my points. I only used to keep a cursory watch on my points, but started making a note when we had that spot of bother where we temporarily lost lots of points and some of us got the lot back and others didn't. I know I lost some. This is definitely the first time I've seen any points with the 30-day expirary limit though. Wonder why?!!! | |

Am I missing something as to why you think you shouldn't have miles expiring?
D No! not at all! What I meant was I'd never noticed before that any of my points were due to 'expire after 30 days' A thought struck me and I re-checked my reviews and I see my first one was written on 8.5.05 and I was counting from when I actually joined dooyoo. So, I've got to the 8th May. I just need the dosh rather than amazon vouchers to faff about with putting up on ebay! It was a very expensive time driving 180 mile round-trip, staying at the hospital at £20 a night etc when hubs was in hospital recently! Am dirt poor!

You only need 10,000 miles for a voucher - instead of rushing out reviews, you could easily cash in for a £10 voucher and know that you can reach another £10 voucher after another review which you can take time over.
D Yeah I did think about doing that. I just wanted to get a £20 Amazon voucher, as all goods on Amazon over £19 qualify for free delivery. I've never rushed any reviews yet and don't want to either. I will fit them in when I have the time. If I lose a few expired points it doesn't matter really.

You can use more than one amazon voucher on each purchase I think and they don't expire for a year so you could ask for a £10 voucher then do reviews to make up the other £10 voucher but use them at the same time on Amazon if you see what I mean! x

I've had well over £200 in there at one point. Just remember to tick the box if you want to use the vouchers instead of your card.
PM me if you need any help!
D Thats a good tip! I didnt know that. I jsut cashed £40 out in Dooyoo but asked for a £20 and two £10s as I didnt know how I could apply it to more than one order, if you get my meaning!
