CIAO IS BACK but money gone !

only had about £2 in mine but i'm hopeing that it has not lost my request on money, i requested about £17 to be payed into my bank near the end of july but still not had it.

I've also sent a email to them about it before i came on here tho that was

I think once everyone has their money reapear Ciao will be swamped with requests for payment from people.

Sorry if this is slightly off topic but it's kind of related. How long do payments normally take to come through? I've been waiting since 20th July - is there a best 'time of the month' to ask for dosh?

I don't think today would be a good day, but usually around a week.

Sorry, just had a glitch and might have put this question somewhere else by mistake. Anyway, serious question I'd like your ideas on.
Lots of people have been posting irate non-reviews in both the cafe and the paid for sections wanting to know where there money's gone.
What's the appropriate rate - OT, NH or 'no rate'?

Depends. If they are in the frustration with ciao category, they are probably in the right place. Depends how eloquently they dealt with it. If off topic, rate it off topic.

Alerts are weird too. They are taking me to pages that do not exist !

I remember the time when CIAO did a total system upgrade (four years ago?) That took a couple of weeks to settle down but it did and as far as I recall no-one suffered financially. Anyway we're not here for the money are we? NF

Im slow as usual jsut noticed my earnings vanished as well what little ones there were.
Has anyone else had the herbal essence shampoos to sample am dead excited..sad I know but had just run out f shampoo and had a particuarly rubbish day at work today mean irish woman!!!

The one that does concern me in all this is the lack of information. I would have expected at least an official statement in the Community Announcements in the Member Centre after 48 hours. Who is running CIAO? It isn't John Read moonlighting from the Home Office is it?

I would not think so, since they advertise that you get paid for your opinion unless of course they gave us a selection of well paying surveys every day instead.
