I was joking...... I think they would lose quite a number of members if they did that, and would also have to pay for ones we have done as we did it with the understanding that we would be paid.

Its seriously annoying but our funds will return I hope. I only had £4 so its not the end of the world but as the renumneration rates are so crap, its taken ages to get to that level.

Ratings are not sticking either. It's really annoying. Thought I would catch up with reading this morning, but if I have to rate every review twice, it's not worth it.

Same here, mine was from four or five reviews and a couple of surveys. At least six hours or more of my time.

The ratings weren't sticking yesterday either. Kept gettings comments and no rates.

I can not understand how someone left £70 in their account with Ciaos history of non-payment.

Number of posts : 42 Age : 78 Registration date : 2006-08-23

My own ratings and comments seem to be "sticking" as normal. I added a new review yesterday evening and have had 27 ratings and 9 comments which seems about average for this time of the year.

Just thought you would all like to know that the technical problems have been due to...... technical problems! I quote from the community announcements page "Temporary account imbalances
Problem with Ciao accounts due to technical problems, some account balances have suddenly decreased to zero. We are currently dealing with this issue. All accounts will, of course, be recredited to the previous amount. Thank you for your patience and understanding."

Yes. The night before my money went to zero I claimed my 5.36, as I took someone's tip a year or so bsck to always draw it as soon as it goes to £5.00.

But as I haven't got any of the £20.00 I claimed over the past eight weeks, I am a little concerned, now....

I had no idea Ciao had a 'history' of non-payment! You mean, there have been occasions in the past when people have lost all their money? I was using my Ciao account to save towards my air fare to see my son in Oz, if I put the money too soon into my bank account it would get eaten up with incidentals.

I didnt know that either, but i had been warned in the past to cash out after u get to a 5er- if u do internet banking though you can always open a mini-savings account on there and automatically transfer it as soon as you get it- thats if u have the discipline to keep it there, which i didnt! My ciao funds are now on my overdraft!!

Its helped marginally though- on payday next week i will see + on my account for the first time in 3 years!!

It has taken as long as 6 months to get your money from Ciao with some members never getting the money they cashed out. People have left Ciao because they did notg et there money and Ciao failed to answer a multitude of emails they sent asking where their money was.

Then they changed the payment structure to 0.5p-2p a read and a lot of people never received their money from before that.

That is where the cash out when you get to £5 comes from.

don't worry, i'm sure it wil turn up. I'm owed about a tenner from weeks ago, but im not stressing too much. there is a community announcement saying they are rectifying it- they aren't just robbing us blind- i hope!

I needed that £11.70 as it took me a year to earn it. God I was writing for 0.225p a week, isnt there a law against that sort of thing ???
